Allison Pregler Bio
Allison Pregler is an avid critic of films that are Z-graded typically in the horror or martial arts categories. Her style of review and methodology is similar to The Cinema Snob. However she is more inclined to watch silly action films that have a twisted fascination. Her first review was in 2009, and when she gained some status in their forums (under her old handle Obscurus Lupa) she was accepted as a part of the Channel Awesome family. She was on the website until mid-2015 when Obscurus Lupa Presents was revamped to Movie Nights. Additionally, she hosts two podcasts via her channel both covering the Charmed franchise, and they both co-host alongside Phelous. After a controversial departure from Channel Awesome Allison officially announced on January 20th 2015 that she'd be revamping OLP into an impromptu review show called Movie Nights with an appropriately-shlocky elevator jazz theme. Here and here you can view her videos. Also on Tumblr as well as Twitter. Are you bored of Allison? Ninja the Mission Force features Allison as Interpol Ninja Cheetah. Brad Jones starred her in Jesus Bro! and was often a guest on his series Midnight Screenings typically reviewing terrible film for children or RiffTrax live programs in addition to the occasional adult comedy (including Baywatch, of course Baywatch (2017)). The first time she was a reviewer was the middle of 2009. She gained a lot of popularity through the Channel Awesome forum before becoming part of their family. She has been on countless Channel Awesome episodes, including Atop the Fourth Wall as in Phelous & the Movies. Doug Walker as well as Doug Walker were once members of Channel Awesome. They would often appear on episodes of Nostalgia Critic.
